except besides區別

except後面的範圍比主語的範圍小，除去的和非除去的是同類事物。besides指更進一步的擁有，包括所“除”事物在內。

舉例：

All the students went to see the film except Tom.

All the students went to see the film besides Tom.

第一句話是説TOM沒有去看電影,而第二句是説除了TOM去看了電影其他的所有人也都去了。
